First of all I think it's a good way to keep people informed about the "work behind the scenes".
It could also be a great tool to have a better communication between the team members. Just post a quick note about what you've actually done and what the result is. Like:
Today I changed some of the sites on our website.
I took off the word "topic" and named that site "next retreat". With the first click now one can read about general things they need to know, like "where's that place" and "when do I have to be there", "what does it cost" or "what do I have to bring".
Then I created a sub page where topic and speaker will be announced as soon as we know who and what they are.
At the last retreat I also felt the need to give an opportunity for those who want to help. I am an optimist! I believe people want to serve for the Lord and they will take any chance to follow his call. Just click the "volunteering" sub page and sign up! I can't wait to hear from you!
Oh and last but not least: I had so many requests for publishing the recipes of the food we had at the ESR! So why not here?
What do you think?
